LUCY MENGLER

Senior associate

Lucy is a commercial litigation lawyer with experience acting in disputes concerning mining law, contractual interpretation and consumer law (including misleading and deceptive conduct). 

Lucy’s experience covers cases across various jurisdiction levels, ranging from the Magistrates Court to the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the Federal Court.

As a Senior Associate, Lucy is a key member of Grondal Bruining’s Commercial Litigation team, with expertise in large scale resources disputes in superior courts. Clients are attracted by Lucy’s incisive and analytical approach, and she is a formidable opponent. Clients are glad to have her on their side.

Lucy was formerly an Associate in the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Western Australia (to the Hon. President McLure), and later worked in litigation at a leading boutique firm.

Lucy was ranked by Doyles Guide as a ‘Litigation Law - Rising Star, WA’ (2023) and by Best Lawyers as "Ones to Watch in Australia" for Alternative Dispute Resolution and Litigation.
