Liz is a commercial lawyer with over              30 years of experience who prides herself on her ability to provide timely and targeted advice, to build trusted relationships and to add value. 

Her expertise lies in drafting, negotiating and advising on contracts for mining, oil and gas, energy and infrastructure projects, including dispute resolution.  Liz's experience includes 10 years practising in London as a commercial litigator and she was a partner in the corporate team at Norton Rose Fulbright Australia from 2002 until 2019. 

Liz has advised clients – both as principals and contractors – in relation to mining and oil and gas  and energy projects in Australia, China, Timor Leste, Europe and various countries in Africa on issues such as land access, joint venture negotiations and managment, provision of port and rail services, asset acquisition and disposal, due diligence investigations, project structuring and offtake arrangements. 

During her career Liz has also advised numerous clients across a range of industries on energy procurement including the provision of power and gas supplies to remote locations, the construction of gas pipeline laterals and on-site electricity generation facilities and negotiating power and gas purchase agreements.

Liz has presented on a variety of issues at industry seminars and conferences and conducted client specific workshops on a range of topics, including contract formation and project risk management.

Liz has been selected by her peers for inclusion into The Best Lawyers in Australia for her work in the fields of Mining Law and Natural Resources Law.
