SPECIAL COUNSEL

Rosaline Tan offers over 15 years’ experience in commercial law and litigation, advising on complex commercial projects, infrastructure, and construction matters.  

Rosaline's practice focuses on energy, natural resources, infrastructure, and industrials.  She advises clients on commercial transactions and agreements, including:

  • negotiating and drafting key commercial contracts and supply agreements;
  • advising on commercial contracts, including supply, construction and consultancy contracts; and
  • assisting clients with dispute resolution, including adjudications.

Rosaline established the John Curtin Law Clinic, a teaching clinic within the Law School at Curtin University, and was Principal Lawyer for 5 years.  She has considerable experience delivering professional development seminars. 

Rosaline was ranked by Doyles Guide as a ‘Construction Law - Rising Star, WA’ (2022).  

Rosaline holds a Masters of Law (H1, University of Melbourne), Bachelor of Laws (with Distinction, UWA), and Bachelor of Arts (Hons, Political Science and History, UWA).  She was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia and High Court of Australia in 2006. 

Rosaline sits on the Access to Justice Committee of the Law Society of Western Australia (since 2020) and has been a mentor through the Asian Australian Lawyers Association (WA, since 2018).
