Regulatory Update: Gas Marketing Code of Conduct

Found in: Blog

In February, the Economic Regulation Authority (ERA) published its draft decision to repeal and replace the Gas Marketing Code of Conduct and have presented it to the Gas Marketing Code Consultative Committee (GMCCC) for further advice.

The Gas Marketing Code of Conduct 2017 (WA) regulates and controls the conduct of retailers and gas marketing agents who supply and market gas to small use customers (i.e., customers that consume not more than 1 TJ of gas per year). It is expected that the GMCCC will undertake public consultation before providing its advice back to the ERA.

The ERA’s draft decision can be found HERE.
The Final Review Report is available HERE.
