Grondal Bruining's commercial and corporate team had a busy first quarter, advising on various domestic and international projects, including two market leading deals, one advising Superior Gold on their debt financing, and the other Lacour's sale of Kondinin.
Superior Gold's completion of a A$10 million debt financing with Auramet International will provide enhanced financial flexibility for the company to manage their cash flow during this time of volatility.
Lacour Energy's sale of the Kondinin hybrid project was to Shell and Foresight Group. Kondinin is a project with development approvals for up to 230MW wind, 80MW solar and 60MW/120MWh battery storage, and was developed by Lacour Energy and Goldwind. The sale will enable Lacour Energy to focus on current and future renewable energy development projects.
